At Jurong Port, currently Singapore’s only commercial Seaport Free Trade Zone for breakbulk/conventional-containerised cargo operations, we have a fully equipped office with full terminal facilities and equipment, covered warehouse, open yard and full time staff in Operational and Customer Service support Here, we regularly handle outsized and heavy cargoes for the Oil & Gas exploration, Offshore Marine, Shipbuilding/shiprepair and Construction industries. Our daily port operations are managed and executed by our dedicated and experienced team of operations managers, supported by full time licensed stevedores, riggers/signalmen and heavy-lift supervisors on a 24x7 basis. Besides Jurong Port , we can provide similar specialized support at private terminals and customer’s premises where oversized or heavy cargoes are handled into or from our barges or trailers. Catering to such project cargoes using our own assets and infrastructure – both shore based and marine based - has long been one of our strengths. This differentiates us from general or project forwarders in Singapore. Supported by our own fleet of tugs and barges and our conventional/semi-containerized vessels providing regular services to and from Indonesia, East Malaysia/Brunei, Vietnam, East Timor and Middle-East, we have handled various Cargoes in high volumes for local and overseas customers. Winstar’s progress and experience at the conventional and containerised gateways in Singapore were gained over the past 15 years. Managing multi-modal transshipments from Singapore to destinations in Southeast Asia, Asia Pacific and beyond has been one of our core competencies.
